Mr. John R. Kibblehouse, Jr. is Vice President of Business Development and Secretary for H&K Group, Inc. (H&K), one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest privately owned and operated heavy civil construction and construction materials companies.  H&K will celebrate a half-century of business excellence in 2018.  

John Kibblehouse, Jr., or “Johnny” as he is known within his executive ranks at H&K, is the second son of father and Co-Chairman of the Board of H&K, John R. “Jack” Kibblehouse.  Johnny is the middle sibling of older brother Kenneth Kibblehouse, and younger sister, Traci Kibblehouse Miller, Vice President and member of H&K’s Board of Directors.  Among his second generation peers, Johnny is positioned as a charismatic, outgoing leader and entrepreneur with a solid feel for both the contracting and the materials side of the business.  In his current position with the corporation, Johnny is committed to fostering continued growth and diversity at H&K Group, Inc.

Prior to earning his current position with the corporation, Johnny spent his entire formative years learning the inner workings of the business, literally from the ground up.  Entering the company on a full-time basis in 1980, Johnny began working first for H&K in the field (or the labor end), and then transitioned inside to estimating and project management.  Johnny spent over twenty years on the contracting side of the business prior to taking on a management position with the company in 2000.  As Johnny’s career with H&K has shadowed the contracting segment of the company, he remains dedicated to fostering H&K’s presence and strength as one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest site contracting companies.

Mr. H. Christian “Chris” Budenz is acting Vice President and Accounting Manager of H&K Group, Inc. (H&K), one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest privately-owned and operated heavy civil construction and construction materials companies.  H&K will celebrate a half-century of business excellence in 2018. 

Chris Budenz is the son of former founder and Assistant Secretary of H&K, Harry R. Budenz, Jr.  Harry R. Budenz, Jr. retired from H&K in 2002.  Chris entered the corporation full-time in June of 1982 and through the years has continued to develop into a consistent, intense, lucid leader with the aptitude for corporate accounting systems and back office administration.  In his subtle yet commanding manner, Chris has positioned himself as the conduit through which the checks and balances of H&K finances flow, and he clearly remains an important link in not only the successes of H&K to the present, but also the corporation’s future achievements for generations to come.

Having entered the corporation on a parallel path with each of his second generation peers or partners, Chris quickly became immersed in the fundamentals of H&K business operations.  Based upon his ultimate end goal of corporate leadership, Chris crafted a career path that would take him through every facet of the corporation, literally from the ground up.  To grasp the fundamentals of aggregates production, Chris began his career as a Crusher Operator in the “field.”  After years of holding virtually every position within the materials and contracting sectors of the business, Chris eventually gravitated to his professional niche of accounting manager by 1998.  By the turn of 2007, Chris was officially appointed Vice President of H&K, and since this time, he has continued to develop both his persona and his position as corporate officer and owner of one of the most successful family owned businesses within the region.

Mr. Marinus “Reen” Leidelmeyer is the Chief Financial Officer of H&K Group, Inc. Mr. Austen J. Haines is a member of the Board of Directors of H&K Group, Inc. Austen is also an Estimator/Project Manager for H&K, which will celebrate a half-century of business excellence in 2018.

Austen Haines is the eldest son of John A. Haines, second generation ownership of H&K. Austen entered the corporation in 2003 as a laborer at Blooming Glen Site Contractors, Inc. and continued on working for various civil construction crews while working summers as an intern with H&K’s Engineering & Environmental Services Division. In December 2012, after graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science, Energy Business and Finance, Austen then entered the corporation full-time becoming an Estimator and Project Manager at Lehigh Valley Site Contractors. Austen is an active member of third generation ownership, he is very forward-thinking and technology savvy, constantly thinking of and developing programs and tools for H&K employees to utilize. Austen was appointed to the Board of Directors of H&K in 2017 and has since continued to position himself as a future leader of H&K.

Mr. Shane Miller is a Sales and Operations Manager for Rahns Construction Material Co. (RAHNS), who is a proud member of The H&K Group Family of Companies.  Mr. Miller is also a member of H&K Group, Inc.’s (H&K’s) Board of Directors, one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s largest privately owned and operated heavy civil contracting and construction materials companies.  H&K will celebrate a half-century of business excellence in 2018.

Shane Miller is the only son of Traci Kibblehouse Miller, Vice President of H&K, and the grandson of Co-Founder and Co-Chairman John R. “Jack” Kibblehouse.  Shane first entered the corporation in 2008 as a laborer for Landis C. Deck & Sons Site Contractors in Bernville, PA.  Over the next three years, Shane progressed to become a project manager for this affiliate and then in 2011 was called upon to learn and support the corporation’s ready-mix and precast operations through RAHNS. At this affiliate location, Shane initially immersed himself in the sales aspects of business and has since progressed to take on an overall operations management role for RAHNS.
